Young-Mason, Jeanine Ed.D., R.N., C.S., F.A.A.N.
JEANINE YOUNG-MASON is a professor at the School of Nursing, University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
This project was first presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Health and Human Values in Washington, D.C., in October 1989 in the Sculpture Garden of the Hirshhorn Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, where there is a casting of "The Burghers of Calais." Subsequently, it was published along with eight of my photographs in the Journal of Professional Nursing (6: 289-299, 1990). It also was presented at the Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, Massachusetts, at Sigma Theta Tau's Annual Research Day, and elsewhere.
