To ensure a timely, productive peer review process and to provide better services for authors and readers in the medical field, Chinese Medical Journal (CMJ) is currently looking for reviewers among professionals and experts all over the world.

CMJ, established in 1887, is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access general medical journal. CMJ is an official journal of Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and is the oldest medical periodical in China. The latest impact factor (2021) for CMJ is 6.133 .

The journal covers all aspects of clinical and basic medicine with a strong focus on high-quality studies of clinical significance.

As an increasingly important platform for global academic communication, CMJ has witnessed dramatic growth in submissions and readership in recent years. The journal is dedicated to fast publication of impactful research that will have a major influence on the healthcare landscape. The double-blind peer review process is of paramount importance to CMJ since we highly rely on our reviewers to evaluate the quality, importance, novelty, and clinical relevance of the work. We need your expertise as reviewers to maintain the quality and efficiency of peer-review process.

Professionals and experts who meet the following requirements are encouraged to join us in our collective mission to create a world-class academic journal:

  1. The applicant should hold a PhD degree or hold a professor/associate professor position in an accredited academic institution;
  2. The applicant must have good experience in his/her research field;
  3. Active researcher in relevant field (more than 5 papers published in peer-reviewed journals, H index ≥10).
