Flexible bronchoscopy showed a polypoid tumor totally occluding the left main bronchus. Nd-YAG laser photoresection was performed, and the tumor was histochemically proved to be a granulocytic sarcoma. Radiotherapy was administered, and a complete resolution was attained. Subsequent examination of the peripheral blood and bone marrow smears showed no evidence of leukemia. © 1999 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Inc.
