Dr. Arjun Bahl is an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and received his MD degree from the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.

With a passion for critical care and treatment of advanced heart failure, Dr. Bahl aims to become a cardiology fellow and continue research in these areas. He is particularly interested in the application of machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence in the optimization of mechanical circulatory support devices.

Dr. Song Li is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist and assistant professor at University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Li received his MD degree from Dartmouth Medical School and did internal medicine residency at Emory University. He completed general cardiology fellowship and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at University of Washington.

Dr. Li’s research focuses on cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support devices. He uses machine learning to solve complex clinical questions and studies its implementation in clinical practice. He is an active principal investigator for multiple clinical trials and registries including serving on the Advanced Data Analytics committee of the multicenter Cardiogenic Shock Working Group registry. Early in his career, he has published >100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters.
