G.E.G. enrolled each participant, while S.A., G.P., and P.E.A. performed the surgeries. The nerve staining was performed by A.C.P. G.E.G., A.C.P., P.E.A., S.J.R., and B.P. collected, managed, and analyzed nerve specimen data. G.E.G. and J.R.P. performed retrospective chart reviews for demographic information. G.E.G. is the first author and had the greatest contribution to this manuscript.
