In Brief:
One hundred sixty-two patients with a suspected pancreatic intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm were retrospectively evaluated for the accuracy of the International Consensus Guidelines versus 18-FDG PET in detecting malignancy: the sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and accuracy of the 2 approaches in detecting malignancy in histologically documented lesions were 93.2%, 22.2%, 59.4%, 72.7%, 61.2%, and 83.3%, 100%, 100%, 84.6%, 91.3%, respectively.
