To the Editor

Two and one half paragraphs in the discussion of our published case report1 in Anesthesia & Analgesia were taken verbatim from a previous publication of Munir2 without proper attribution. On behalf of my co-authors, I apologize to Dr. Munir and his colleagues, and to the readers, reviewers, and editors of Anesthesia & Analgesia for our unintended plagiarism and request that our case report be retracted.
