Subtenon Block Compared to Intravenous Fentanyl for Perioperative Analgesia in Pediatric Cataract Surgery: Erratum

In the article that appeared on page 1132 in the April 2009 issue of volume 108 of Anesthesia & Analgesia, there is an error in the median time to first analgesic requirement in group SB which has been published as 16 hours. On rechecking their data, the authors found that there is a typographical error and that the median time to first analgesic requirement in group SB should be 9 hours.

In the Abstract “Results” section on page 1132, “Group SB (16 [2–13]” should be “Group SB (9 [2–13].”

Similarly, in the Results section on page 1135, “Group SB (16 [2–13]” should be “Group SB (9 [2–13].”

The authors regret the error.

This error has been noted in the online version of the article, which is available at www.anesthesia-analgesia.org.
