Over the last two years, a new nonpartisan, not-for-profit group, the Center for Practical Health Reform, has formed to actively work for balanced meaningful change in American health care. The goal is simple: restabilizing the system in ways that will let us sustain the primarily market-based approach we've had for the last 60 years. This article describes this effort.

Executive Director, Center for Practical Health Reform, Orange Park, Florida (Klepper)

Immediate former CEO of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association; founder of Sutter Health in California (Hayes)

Founder of the Brooks Health System, Jacksonville, Florida (Brown)
