Parents would remove their children from day care if others were not vaccinated
Parents would remove their children from day care if others were not vaccinated. Parents with children in day care have strong feelings about vaccinations, according to results of a C.S. Mott National Poll on Children's Health (http://bit.ly/1z6tlXW). Two-thirds wanted to know the number of children whose immunizations aren't up to date, and three-quarters would consider removing their child from day care if 25% of the other children didn't have all required immunizations. Children whose immunizations aren't up to date should be excluded from day care until all vaccines are received, said 41% of parents, and 75% said day-care providers should review the immunization status of children yearly.Copyright © 2015 Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc.
