  • The erectile dysfunction drug tadalafil (Cialis) has now been approved to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, whether it occurs by itself or along with erectile dysfunction.
  • Drug interactions can occur with concurrent use of nitrates or α blockers, producing hypotension. Coadministration should be avoided.
