Since May 2022，Acupuncture and Herb Medicine（AHM） has been included in the DOAJ international database (the largest database of peer-reviewed open access scientific journals). This is a significant step in the further development of the journal.

AHM is a high starting-point journal, formally published in 2021, aimed to establish a front runner journal for international communication of researches in acupuncture and herbal medicine. AHM publishes innovative studies on acupuncture and herbal medicine, and promotes academic exchanges in the field of traditional medicine. AHM has already been indexed in EBSCO Discovery Science, World-Cat, ProQuest Summons + Ex-libris, META.Science, Sempertool, Google Scholar, Netherlands ISSN center, and OVID.
