I am thankful to LGBTQI+ migrants and nurses who participated in my research study. I extend my utmost appreciation to my PhD committee members (Dr Carol McDonald, Dr Nancy Clark, Dr Judith MacDonnell, and Dr Annalee Lepp) for their time and support in my intertwined formation of understanding hermeneutics, intersectionality, and experiences of participants. Also, I am grateful to Centennial College and University of Victoria's Dorothy J. Kergin Endowmen Fund for their financial support in conducting this research. Moreover, my sincere thanks to Sigma Theta Tau, Honour Nursing Society, Lambda Pi-At-Large chapter for awarding me the publication grant in November 2021. I am grateful to the journal reviewers for their insightful comments on this article. Finally, my gratitude to Sarah Van Vugt and Emily Arvay, who provided copyediting and proofreading.
