Erratum

In the article, Interpretation of Hospital Nurse Fatigue Using Latent Profile Analysis, that published in Advances in Nursing Science , there was an error in the calculation of the Brief Resilience Scale score.

The sentence in the first paragraph of the Measures section was “BRS scores ranged from 1 to 30 with higher scores indicating more resilience.” It should have read “The BRS scores ranged from 1 to 5 with higher scores indicating more resilience.”

In Table 1 the average and standard deviation score for the Brief Resilience Scale should be 3.57 (0.72) and not 21.44 (4.33). The range of the score is 1-5 not 1-30.

In Table 5 there is an error in the heading column. High fatigue/High recovery should be High fatigue/Low recovery.

Also in Table 5 the average and standard deviation scores for the Brief Resilience Scale should be instead:

  • Low fatigue/High recovery: 3.73 (.68)
  • Moderate fatigue/Moderate recovery: 3.21 (.86)
  • High fatigue/Low recovery: 3.62 (.56)

The author regrets these errors.
