About the Journal

​​​​Advances in Neonatal Care is the official journal of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN). Addressing practice and research challenges faced every day—caring for the 40,000-plus low-birth-weight infants in Level II and Level III NICUs each year—the journal promotes evidence-based care and improved outcomes for the tiniest patients and their families. ANC takes a unique and dynamic approach to the original research and clinical articles it publishes and ensures that every paper is directly relevant to nursing as well as interdisciplinary practice. Every article comes with a clear outline of what we know, what needs to be studied, and what we can do today about the subject at hand so that readers can easily understand and implement the latest neonatal findings. Neonatal care providers make a difference every day, and ANC provides innovative evidence-based strategies to support achieving best outcomes.
