Charles J. Fountaine, Ph.D., FACSM,is a professor and the program coordinator of the Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences major at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Dr. Fountaine teaches courses in research methods and the science of resistance training. He was an associate editor for the 11th edition of ACSM's Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription.
