Ed.D., FACSM, ACSM-CEP, ACSM-EP, ACSM-GEIAuthor Information Peter Ronai, M.S., FACSM, ACSM-CEP, ACSM-EP, EIM III, is a clinical professor of exercise science in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences, Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and an associate editor for ACSM’s Health & Fitness Journal®. He also is a past president of the New England Chapter of ACSM. He speaks and writes about tips and tools exercise professionals can access and apply to better serve their clients when developing exercise programs. Paul M. Gallo, Ed.D., FACSM, ACSM-CEP, ACSM-EP, ACSM-GEI, has been the director of Exercise Science and Wellness at Norwalk Community College since 2004 and adjunct faculty at Teachers College Columbia University since 2011. He holds a doctorate of education in applied physiology from Teachers College Columbia University and is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. Paul is active in research focusing on movement economy and resistance training in both persons with Parkinson’s disease and older adults and has publications in several peer-reviewed journals. Currently, he serves as an associate editor for ACSM’s Health & Fitness Journal®, the assistant to the editor for the Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology, and is the president of the New England Regional Chapter of ACSM.
