Proposing an Article
Review articles published in Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews are typically by invitation only. The editor-in-chief will consider uninvited proposals that meet the following key criteria:

• Novel hypothesis that explains a relevant issue from a unique perspective. The hypothesis must be illustrated in a conceptual figure.
• Must be supported by original research published by the author(s)

Authors interested in having their proposed article considered for possible publication should complete a copy of the ESSR Proposal Form that can be found on the submission site. The completed ESSR Proposal Form can be emailed to the ESSR Editorial Office at [email protected].

Submitting an Approved Article or a Letter to the Editor
ESSR accepts approved manuscript submissions, Invited Commentaries, and Letters to the Editor-in-Chief and responses through a submission service on another Web site.

ESSR has specific instructions and guidelines for approved articles, Invited Commentaries, and Letters to the Editor and responses. Those instructions and guidelines are readily available on the submission service site. Please read and review them carefully.
