Indian Endodontic Society (IES)is a non profit organisation and was registered in 1989 under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in Delhi.
Ever since its inception, IES has been an active scientific body in the field of Endodontics. IES is also an active member of Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation (APEC) and International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA). IES conducts its annual congress every year and it attracts participation from all over India and around the globe. State-of-the-art plenary presentations by leading experts, seminars on important aspects of current research and daily poster presentations encourages an interactive and inspiring exchange between participants. IES in 2017 organised the "19th Scientific Congress of Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation" which was attended by 2000 delegates from India and 40 other countries.
Aims & Objectives of IES:
- To develop and maintain high standards of endodontic research, teaching and clinical practice.
- To organise seminars, continuing education programme and workshops to achieve the above objectives.
- To bring out a bi-annual publication in the subject of endodontics.
- To cultivate and foster professional relationship throughout the country and abroad.
