Guest Editors
Liang Qianqian (梁倩倩), PhD.
Director of Spine Institute, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shanghai, China. Prof. Qianqian Liang was born in Dandong (China) on March the 30th, 1981. She has taken the PhD degree in Orthopedics of traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009. She currently serves as professor of Orthopedics of traditional Chinese Medicine at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China) and Director of Spine Institute of the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China). She has published more than 84 articles in peer-reviewed journals. The major focus of her research is to study the pathological process of arthritis and the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.

Dr. Xie Keyong (谢可永)
Dr. Xie Keyong was bone in Shanghai, China in 1950. He earned his MD/PhD degree in Traumatic Orthopedics of TCM from Shanghai University of TCM 1994. Dr. Xie Keyong served as an attending in the Long Hue Teaching Hospital and a Professor of Traumatic Orthopedics of TCM in Shanghai University of TCM. His research interests include the treatment of degenerative bone and joint disease and bone metabolic disease. Dr. Xie Keyong has been practiced to treat chronic musculoskeletal diseases as certificated Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM and Licensed Acupuncturist in USA since 1997. He has authored over 30 scientific papers and chapters, 15 books.

When submitting your manuscript please select the article type “Special Issue: Effect of TCM on Musculoskeletal Diseases and Understanding of TCM Theory". All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Once your manuscript is accept, it will go into production, and will be simultaneously published in the current regular issue and pulled into the online article collection. Article from this Special Topic will appear in different regular issues of the journal, though they will be clearly marked and branded as special topic articles.
