BJOA is published by the Bali Chapter of the Indonesian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care (PERDATIN). PERDATIN is an organization that consists of all anaesthetists in Indonesia to interact and exchange information about the development of anesthesiology, critical care medicine, pain medicine, and emergency medicine. PERDATIN is a member of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). More information about PERDATIN is available on their website.

In addition to various international indexing and abstracting agencies, the journal is also indexed by the Indonesian government indexing agencies such as Portal Garuda and SINTA.
