AVP Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered as a Section 25 company. It is recognised as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. AVPRF is the CSR subsidiary of The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore Ltd. primarily engaged in research activities also offers specialised educational and clinical services. AVPRF is inspired by and built on the foundational work done by the AVT Institute for Advanced Research (AVTAR) under The Ayurvedic Trust over a period of nearly one decade. The foundation also publishes a clinical speciality journal in Ayurveda, titled ASL- Musculoskeletal Diseases.
