Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Curricula
The Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound has published curricula for training radiology residents and medical students in the interpretation and performance of ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures.  These curricula are designed to follow the recent 5 level American College of Graduate Medical Education guidelines for achievement and performance in each area of radiology including ultrasound.  As opposed to prior curricula which were based on the year of residency, these criteria are divided into beginner, advanced beginner, competent, proficient, and expert levels.  The medical student curricula represent what the SRU and AMSER feel are reasonable expectations for knowledge of ultrasound at this level.
