Teaching students about the WHO Guide to Good Prescribing

Although the WHO Guide to Good Prescribing is widely used in medical education to teach rationale prescribing to physicians, this method is less known in graduate nursing education. The purpose of this article is to review the motivation behind the model and to discuss the incorporation of a P (personal) drug assignment into a graduate pharmacology course.
