Abstract

Failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS) is a phenomenon that occurs following surgery on the lumbosacral spine. This form of chronic back pain is a major problem for patients and primary care providers. How do we guide and educate our patients to make the right choices for them? This article will explore the prevention, incidence, causes, and various treatment options that are available.
