Abstract

Flexible intramedullary nails are widely used for the fixation of long bone fractures in children. In adults, clavicle fractures fixation is gaining some popularity using intramedullary nails.

There are also case reports regarding their use in fibula and sternum fractures. We report a case of pathological fracture of proximal radius in an adult patient where titanium elastic nails (Synthes) were used to treat the fracture.
