: Sympathetic interruption is probably the most effective therapy for frostbite injuries. While surgical sympathectomy has been widely used, local anesthetic blockade has been neglected as a useful alternative. The purpose of this report is to emphasize the value of sympathetic blockade for the treatment of frostbite.
