Late Leakage of Inflatable Silicone Breast Prostheses

Abstract

SUMMARY: The delayed spontaneous leakage of inflatable breast prostheses in six cases is reported. The mechanism of wrinkling in the silicone bag, with the development of a subsequent fold flaw leak, is demonstrated.
