VISION:The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal will improve the health of children globally by fostering a better understanding of infectious disease prevention and treatment in children.  

MISSION: The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal will serve ESPID and its members as well as the global infectious disease community as the leading resource for publication of pediatric infectious disease research and acting as a forum to further the education of pediatricians and specialists in pediatric infectious disease globally.
