ABSTRACT: EXERCISE IS AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF OSTEOPOROSIS (OP). DIFFERENT TYPES OF EXERCISE HAVE POSITIVE EFFECTS IN PATIENTS WITH OP. CERTAINLY, WEIGHT-BEARING EXERCISE AND RESISTANCE TRAINING ARE THE BEST WAY TO IMPROVE BONE MINERAL DENSITY. THIS REVIEW PROVIDES PRACTICAL GUIDELINES FOR EXERCISE AND CONDITIONING SPECIALISTS.
