SUMMARY: THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE IS TO ADDRESS THE USE OF FIELD TESTS OF PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE AND ATHLETICISM IN ELITE OUTFIELD SOCCER PLAYERS (E.G., COLLEGIATE, PROFESSIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL) THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAYER PROFILING SYSTEM. A SECONDARY PURPOSE IS TO ADDRESS THE USE OF DATA TO QUANTIFY A PLAYER'S PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES, LIMB ASYMMETRY, TIME-RELATED CHANGES, AND RETURN TO PLAY AFTER INJURY.
