THIS COLUMN REVIEWS THE CURRENT LITERATURE ON KETTLEBELL TRAINING AND EXAMINES POTENTIAL BENEFITS FOR STRENGTH, POWER, MUSCULAR ENDURANCE, AND FAT LOSS. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED AS TO HOW KETTLEBELLS CAN BE EFFECTIVELY INTEGRATED INTO EXERCISE PROGRAM DESIGN. TECHNIQUE FOR PROPER AND SAFE PERFORMANCE OF SOME OF THE BASIC KETTLEBELL EXERCISES IS ADDRESSED.
