Abstract

SUBSEQUENT TO GATHERING STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING MEASUREMENTS ON A GROUP OF ATHLETES, THE CERTIFIED STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING SPECIALIST FACES THE TASK OF EVALUATING THOSE MEASUREMENTS. THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES THE COMMANDS FOR CALCULATING Z SCORES FOR COMMON STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING MEASUREMENTS USING MICROSOFT EXCEL. STRATEGIES FOR AVOIDING 5 COMMON PITFALLS ASSOCIATED WITH Z SCORES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
