SPORTS HERNIAS AND OSTEITIS PUBIS HAVE BEEN HYPOTHESIZED TO BE A RESULT OF A STRENGTH IMBALANCE BETWEEN ABDOMINAL AND HIP MUSCULATURE. AN ANTERIOR PELVIC TILT IS A POSTURAL ALIGNMENT THAT ACCENTUATES THIS MUSCLE IMBALANCE. STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING PROGRAMS NEED TO FOCUS ON BALANCED STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY TO PREVENT THESE INJURIES.
