Abstract

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT EXERCISE AND PROPER NUTRITION ARE CORNERSTONES OF GOOD HEALTH. BUT DID YOU REALIZE THAT SEDENTARY BEHAVIOR CAN HAVE NEGATIVE HEALTH CONSEQUENCES, EVEN IF YOU DO EXERCISE REGULARLY? THIS COLUMN LOOKS AT SOME RECENT RESEARCH SUPPORTING THIS HYPOTHESIS.
