THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE IS TO BEGIN TO DEFINE WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN EFFECTIVE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH. A CONTINUUM APPROACH TO DEFINING EFFECTIVENESS IS INTRODUCED, ALONG WITH 3 EXAMPLES OF MORE OR LESS EFFECTIVE COACHING. LAST, RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR RESOURCES TO IMPROVE COACHING EFFECTIVENESS.
