Neurology Today Wins Top Editorial Awards!
Neurology Today was honored with two awards from APEX, the Awards for Publication Excellence, an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers, and designers who create print, Web, electronic, and social media. With nearly 2,100 entries, competition was exceptionally intense this year.
Neurology Today received a Grand Award, the highest possible prize, in the category of Best Writing for an article by Orly Avitzur, MD, “Pay Cuts for Electrodiagnostic Testing Could Propel Neurology Work Force Crisis,” which discusses the impact of the 2013 round of cuts by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for electromyography codes on individual, group, and academic neurology practices.
Neurology Today also received an Award of Excellence for Best Writing Series, “Sequestration Hits Neurology,” for the following articles:
