Dr. Lavine is an assistant professor of neurosurgery and radiology at the Columbia University School of Medicine, and serves as the Clinical Director of Neuroendovascular Services at the Columbia University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital. He dedicates his practice exclusively to diseases associated with the cerebrovascular system and to those diseases treated with Endovascular Neurosurgical and Interventional Neuroradiological Procedures. He was among the first surgeons in the country to complete training in these procedures after completing neurosurgical training. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles, medical school at Cornell University Medical School, and neurosurgery residency and endovascular neurosurgical training at the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Cerebrovascular Disease.
