3-D fusion images generated using CT, MRI, and rotational angiography data. The cranial side of the objects is displayed at the bottom of the animation.
In this animation, right suboccipital craniectomy with C1 hemilaminectomy was performed.
By making the dura mater (light yellow) and spinal cord (yellow) transparent, the positions of the shunting points fed by the anterior spinal and radiculomedullary arteries were visualized on the ventral side of the spinal cord. Finally, the object was rotated to show the anterior spinal artery, shunting points, and aneurysmal dilation on the ventral side of the spinal cord, as presented in Figure 2B.
