In an article in the November 2012 issue of the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, a reference (p. 1282) requires correction. The article cites the work of Dr. Cino Bendinelli, whose surname was incorrectly spelled in the ninth reference (i.e. “Bernadelli C”). The correct full reference to Dr. Bendinelli’s work should read:

Bendinelli C. Effects of land mines and unexploded ordnance on the pediatric population and comparison with adults in rural Cambodia. World J Surg. 2009 May;33(5):1070–4.

This error has been noted in the online version of the article, which is available at www.jtrauma.com.
