Lactate clearance as a predictor of mortality in trauma patients: Corrigendum

In an article in the April 2013 issue of the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, a unit of measurement was misreported. Specifically, the units of measurement for lactate values should read “mmol/mL” instead of “mg/dL”. The authors note that while the units were mistaken, the reported absolute values are correct.

This correction been noted in the online text of the article, which is available at http://www.jtrauma.com. However, please note that the tables and figures in which lactate levels are referenced as mg/dL have not been re-typeset. Therefore, please read “mmol/mL” for “mg/dL” in Table 2, Table 3, Figure 2, and Figure 3.
