Flat head syndrome may signal developmental delays in children

​A systematic review, conducted by Rresearchers from The George Institute for Global Health and the University of Sydney, Australia found that child observed to have positional plagiocephaly,a.k.a "flat head syndrome," were at higher risk of having delays in various areas of development, such as motor, language, and cognitive skills. Motor delay was most common. ​The author's recommend that children noted to have flat heads should be assessment by ​their physician to see if there are other things that need to be treated.
