Abstract: Biblical accounts of Creation tell the origin of the world and the beginning of God's relationship with humankind. Azusa Pacific University assigns graduate nursing students a faith integration project analyzing Creation accounts through the eyes of a nurse researcher. This report integrates eight students' investigations of Genesis 1 and 2, offering deep, rich insight into nursing practice.

What does the biblical account of Creation have to do with nursing? Eight graduate nursing students explored the quantitative account of Genesis 1 and the qualitative story-telling of Genesis 2, learning a lot about God and nursing.

Heidi D. Geary, CCRN, RN, was a graduate nursing student at Azusa Pacific University. She works as a staff nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles.

Pamela H. Cone, PhD, CNS, is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Azusa Pacific University and teaches the graduate Research and Theory in Advanced Nursing Practice course in which the students completed the Genesis Faith Integration assignment.
