Kathleen Brewer-Smyth, PhD, RN, is assistant professor at the University of Delaware College of Health and Nursing Sciences, Newark, Delaware. Brewer-Smyth has two decades of experience in neuroscience nursing as a clinical specialist, educator, researcher and author in critical care, outpatient and rehab. She has earned numerous grants for her prison research. Kathleen attends Tenth Presbyterian Church, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
