Addiction to Propofol: A Study of 22 Treatment Cases: Erratum

The corresponding author of the article titled “Addiction to Propofol: A Study of 22 Treatment Cases,” published in the May/June 2013 issue of the Journal, amended the disclosure to include the following:

Previous to the unrestricted grant that funded the research for this paper, the corresponding author had provided paid consultation delineating the current literature as to the physiological aspects of the drug Propofol and its addiction liability. The consultation was with a law firm that was defending the Grantor in a pending legal matter. Although the previous consultation was complete, there was no formal termination of the consultation contract previous to the grant that funded this study.
