Abstract

ABSTRACT: This column is included in a series of columns that will improve the dermatology nurse’s competency with regards to different surgical instruments. In addition, it provides information about the historical significance and clinical applications of common tools used in dermatology surgery. The featured item for this column is the surgical scissors, and a variety of types are included.
