Abstract

ABSTRACT: The cicatricial alopecias are characterized by permanent hair loss and often significant discomfort. They represent the last frontier of hair disorders. With the proper tools, the astute clinician can make an accurate diagnosis and successfully manage this group of challenging diseases.
