Surgical Approaches to the Elbow.

The more commonly used surgical procedures for approaching the elbow region are discussed. Photographed transverse sections demonstrate the basic gross anatomy. The important correlation between the anatomy and safe surgical exposures is emphasized.

Some of the hazards and problems in the various procedures are presented.
