Median Neuropathy in the Carpal Tunnel Caused by Spontaneous Intraneural Hemorrhage.

A case of acute median neuropathy at the level of the transverse carpal ligament is presented as causing symptoms similar to those of the carpal-tunnel syndrome, but more sudden in onset and more steadily painful with progressive neurological deficit.
