The Practical Importance of Synovial- Fluid Analysis.

Synovial-fluid analysis is of practical importance in the differential diagnosis of joint disease. The separation of cases of severe inflammatory response from those of basic traumatic and degenerative etiology can be readily accomplished. With the aid of these tests, early diagnosis of the nature of the arthritis is often possible.
